UNITED EYEING FOURTH STRAIGHT LEAGUE WIN

Manchester United have their eyes set on a fourth straight league win ahead of the visit of Arsenal in the Premier League. Manchester United will take on leaders Arsenal at home in the league as they try to move closer to the Gunners on the Premier League log.

Arsenal are the top team in the Premier League as regards the Premier League standings after five wins from five games. They have a six-point lead over the Red Devils ahead of the meeting between the two teams this weekend.

Manchester United started the season with two defeats in the league under the guidance of new manager Erik Ten Hag. The Dutchman and United were beaten 2-1 at home to Brighton and Hove Albion courtesy two first half goals from Pascal Gross. The brace from Gross gave Brighton a famous win at the Theatre of Dreams. United made it two successive league defeats with the 4-0 loss at the hands of home team Brentford.

Since the Brentford game which saw the Manchester United team properly humiliated, they have won three league games starting from the Liverpool game last week Monday. Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford were on target for Manchester United beat Liverpool 2-1 at home. Egyptian star Salah scored the Liverpool goal against the first Red Devils.

Manchester United made it two straight league wins with the 1-0 away win over Southampton thanks to the second half strike from Portuguese international playmaker Bruno Fernandes. They then made it three straight league wins with another 1-0 away win over Leicester City thanks to the first half strike from the aforementioned Sancho. The Red Devils can make it four straight wins with an home win over Arsenal. Manchester United will likely be without Frenchman Anthony Martial for the visit of Arsenal due to injury.
